I’ve spent most of my life underwater and I love it. I started in the Royal Australian Navy as a Clearance Diver, and now I spend practically every day working on and under the waters of Victoria. I consider myself one lucky duck to be doing what I love. The only downside? I’m totally terrified of SHARKS.

Torden is a versatile, multi-use vessel designed to simplify difficult tasks and ensure safe operation. Its design is informed by extensive experience in both Royal Australian Navy and Civil Marine operations. The vessel boasts large, open work areas, dry storage, lifting hardware, auxiliary generators, and battery banks to support a wide range of operational requirements.

We’ve embarked on an exciting project: sustainably farming invasive seaweed species in Westernport Bay and southern Port Phillip Bay in Victoria. It’s a collaboration that combines our expertise in underwater exploration and the incredible ecological knowledge of Southern Seagreens to tackle an environmental challenge while also creating a sustainable, valuable resource.

It all begins with an idea. For us, the brief to awesome artist TD Illustrations was something along the lines of “Scuba diver, a treasure chest of beer, and a Viking ship, all against the backdrop of Arthur’s Seat, oh, and greyscale thanks.” Eeeeeasy!
